Shipping Policy

Order Processing

  • Orders are processed once payment has been confirmed and product specifications have been finalized.

  • Standard processing time is 10–14 business days for Canadian-origin products.

  • For European-origin products, processing may take longer due to international logistics and customs clearance.

Shipping Coverage

  • We ship across Canada and the United States.

  • Deliveries may be made directly to project sites, residences, or commercial locations.

  • Some remote or rural areas may be subject to additional shipping charges or extended delivery times.

Shipping Methods

  • We use trusted freight and courier partners specializing in oversized and fragile goods.

  • All windows and doors are packaged securely to minimize risk of damage during transit.

  • Large orders are typically shipped on pallets and may require forklift access for unloading.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Canadian-origin products: 1–3 weeks depending on destination.

  • European-origin products: 8–14 weeks depending on customs clearance and shipping schedules.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, border delays, or carrier issues beyond our control.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on order size, weight, delivery location, and method of transport.

  • Customers will be provided with an estimated shipping quote at the time of purchase.

  • Additional charges may apply for remote deliveries, inside delivery, or special handling.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

​

  • For shipments from Europe, all import duties, customs fees, and brokerage charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Domestic shipments within Canada include applicable sales taxes.

  • U.S. customers are responsible for any applicable state taxes, import fees, or customs duties.

Delivery & Inspection

  • Deliveries require a recipient on-site to inspect and sign for the shipment.

  • Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing.

  • Claims for concealed damage must be reported to Elf Construction Ltd within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting photos.

Shipping Insurance

​

  • All shipments are covered by standard carrier insurance.

  • Additional insurance can be arranged upon request at the customer’s expense.

Order Tracking

​

  • Once your order ships, you will receive tracking details (when available) or a shipping confirmation with delivery arrangements.
